Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2025

1. Agreement

By booking or engaging Hello Sensation Photography ("we", "us", "our"), you ("Client") agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before confirming any booking.

2. Booking & Deposits

A non-refundable booking deposit (typically 30–50% of the total fee) is required to secure your session date. The deposit confirms your booking and is deducted from the total balance due.

Your date is not reserved until the deposit is received and confirmed. Booking deposits are non-refundable as they compensate for the time reserved on our calendar.

3. Payment

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and major payment methods as discussed at the time of booking.

Late payments may result in a delay in delivery of your images and/or additional fees.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

5. Delivery of Images

Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within the timeframe specified at the time of booking (typically 2–4 weeks for portrait sessions; 3–6 weeks for dance and fine art productions). Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

The number of final edited images is as specified in your package. Raw/unedited files are not provided.

6. Copyright & Usage

Hello Sensation Photography retains full copyright of all images produced. Upon payment in full, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to print and share the images for personal use.

Commercial use, publication, or resale of images requires a separate written agreement and licensing fee.

We reserve the right to use images in our portfolio, website, and social media unless you request otherwise in writing prior to your session.

7. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for arriving on time, ensuring appropriate attire and preparation as discussed, and obtaining any required permits for location shoots. Any delays caused by the Client may result in reduced session time.

For sessions involving minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present and provide written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, accident, or circumstances beyond our control, our liability is limited to a refund of monies paid. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We strongly recommend independent event insurance for large productions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under Australian law.
